Seattle Christian Schools; Making a Difference in Our
Community |
 |
Each year Seattle Christian Schools, SCS, sends out
into the community its entire high school population of
nearly 400 individuals to participate in unique learning
environments and service projects in an event called
InterSCession.
Class options are a mix of educational offerings
(Snorkeling, Auto Shop 101, Go to College Free!, Make
Your Own Quilt—and more) and ministry opportunities
(Vision House, Romania Mission Trip, Ministry Trip to
Spain, Solders’ Home Ministry—and more). This year’s
most popular options among the students are the Katrina
Relief Missions Team, Caring for Ill Children at
Children’s Hospital, and California Dream Center.

spare bedroom, offered child care from the home,
retreated to the studio over the garage, or simply
called home their business headquarters.
