From Clutter to Invention: PAPER-TRACKER(TM) |

In 1999 Richard "Dick" Bennett looked at the paper clutter around
his computer monitor and decided a new invention was needed. Bennett
shared his idea with Howard Bing, president of a Burien, Washington
based software development/distribution company. The two partnered
to develop a new line of useful products called PAPER-TRACKER(TM),
the "anywhere" document and picture holder.

Hands of the Hmong |

For thousands of years, the Hmong people lived in the forests of
China. They had their own language, their own agrarian way of life
and their own art-colorful, intricate textile works called "pa ndau"
or flower cloth.
Burien resident, Blia Xiong, carries on the tradition of "pa ndau"
as she hand creates beautiful jackets, vests, pillow cases and bags
using cross stitch, reverse appliqué and embroidery.

Sandy's Corner Espresso Cafe, located at 12930 E. Marginal Way S.,
Tukwila, makes a pleasant breakfast, lunch or coffee stop.
The regulars are known and greeted with warmth. New customers,
treated with that same friendliness, are given reason to come back.
Sandy doesn't seem to be out to conquer the world of Espresso
Café's, just to make her own little oasis.
