  • Sea Kayaking in the San Juan Islands

Friday Harbor-based Outdoor Odysseys offers one to five day sea kayaking trips. Even those with no prior kayaking experience can paddle among orcas and eagles. Outdoor Odyssey's offers trained naturalist/guides, and provide the boats and gear, tastefully prepared cuisine on over night trips and "just in time" training for novices and up.

Their trips incorporate whale watching, birding, fine cuisine, area history tours and more. The focus is on specific locales in the San Juan Islands where whales and other "wonders of the Islands" can most often be seen.

    Clean, Sweet Smelling Pets!

Tired of bathing your pet? Tired of cleaning up the mess after bathing your pet? The Soggy Doggy in Des Moines is the perfect solution.

The Soggy Doggy is also a doggy bakery. Dogs love the homemade, all natural dog biscuits. The biscuits are tasty and preservative free. The menu includes everything from almond and sesame biscotti to chicken or garlic and cheese. They also prepare custom treats.

Seattle is Most Wireless City in America

According to Intel Corporation's third annual "Most Unwired Cities" survey released this month, Seattle is now the most unwired city in America. In a rapidly changing wireless landscape, Seattle narrowly unseated former top position holders San Francisco (2004's Most Unwired City) and Portland, Ore. (2003's Most Unwired City). Seattle-area residents can now stay connected, informed and entertained throughout the city, from the original Starbucks at Pike Place Market and the Bank of America Tower to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and the Space Needle.

    A Traditional Irish Pub
Giants Causeway, an Irish pub located at 201 Williams Ave. S., in Renton, is named after a natural wonder located in Northern Ireland. The uninformed will tell you the causeway (a raised roadway, as across water or marshland) is a geological phenomenon caused by volcanic eruptions and cooling lava. However, according to legend this wonder is the work of the giant Finn MacCool, an Ulster warrior and commander of the king of Ireland's armies.
