  • Internet Based Business Works 24/7--With No Overtime

I first became interested in an internet based business a few years ago. A friend was logging onto the internet and announced that he made another sale for one of his latest books that he was self-publishing.

My web sites sell 24 hours a day, seven days a week. I can manage my web sites anywhere that there is an internet connection, and these days that is a lot of places. Currently, I am on military reserve duty in South Carolina, and I am able to keep my web sites up and running and selling.

Des Moines Farmers Market Dedicated to the Environment

The first farmers market in Washington State committed to supporting environmentally sustainable farming practices drew crowds to the Des Moines Waterfront Marina their first time out.

Over 25 local vendors and a host of activities kicked off the new Des Moines Waterfront Farmers Market which opened Saturday, June 17th and runs every Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm through October.

    Students on Board

On the last Friday of the school year, the Chinook Middle School Eighth Grade Class toured Puget Sound on Argosy Cruise Line's Royal Argosy. It was a perfect, clear day. Students viewed the Space Needle, Bainbridge Island, Vashon Island, and more.

    Pets in the Workplace?

Are the dog days of summer going corporate? With Pet Sitters International's annual Take Your Dog to Work Day this past June 23rd, many people might be wondering just how many pets are actually in American workplaces. Well, according to an all-new survey conducted by The American Pet Products Manufacturers Association (APPMA), there are more than you might think.

    Lavender Makes You Think of...
Lavender is the scent our grandmother's sheets retained through the years, the delectable smell of summer festivals, and the aroma of a wedding bouquet. The 10th Annual Sequim Lavender Festival on July 14, 15, & 16th will bring back those memories.

People in search of those memories or wanting to make new ones just keep pouring into the beautiful Sequim-Dungeness Valley on the Olympic Peninsula year after year. "In 2005, festival goers came to Sequim, Lavender Capital of North America, from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and 55 countries located on 6 continents."
