The Things I Can't Carry-On |
|

During the school year, I live and attend college in Northwest
Arkansas. My choice to spend four years in Arkansas was a shock
for a lot of people, myself included. Having been raised in
Seattle, I knew I was in for some big changes.
After my freshman year in Arkansas and a summer back home, I
can now compose this list. Not counting my family, these are the
things I miss the most from the Seattle area while in Arkansas:

Vote on Sept. 14 - King County Library System |

|
Library Election September 14, 2004 - The people of King County
fund King County Library System services. The current capital bond
is expiring. To meet community needs, maintain a vibrant
collection and infrastructure, and effectively prepare for the
next decade, replacement funding is required.

Know Your Airport Campaign |
|
|
This fall the airport will be having a special "Know Your
Airport Campaign" for all 18,000 plus airport employees. The
weeklong event, set for Sept. 28 - Oct. 4, promotes airport
employees' knowledge about airport services and facilities. During
the week employees play a "Passport Game" and daily games where
they must research and then answer questions about our airport.
And, of course, there are prizes. If your business would be able
