Steadfast to Victory Launches "Adopt a Platoon" |

Steadfast to Victory, a Seattle based non-profit corporation,
is teaming Puget Sound businesses with platoons, battalions and
units for all branches of the military.
This effort called "Adopt a Platoon" is one of several programs
available through Steadfast to Victory. It's easy to participate
in "Adopt a Platoon". Steadfast to Victory assigns a platoon,
unit, battalion, etc. to the interested business and gives that
business' contact person a list of needs and wants.

In its third year, Teaching Kids to CARE is an educational
outreach initiative developed by Doubletree to encourage kids to
start making conscious decisions about how they can personally
show they care about their communities.
This year, they invited the Tukwila Elementary School to
participate with them.

Not a new line of kitchenware or clothing, "malware" is short
for malicious software and includes things with such technical
names as spyware, adware, spam, viruses, worms and more. And count
on it, you don't want any of this stuff on your computer.

Introducing the Owner/Operator Hour |

Starting in January 2005, on the fourth Tuesday of each month,
individuals who own and operate local businesses are invited to
gather from 7:30-8:30am at LC Connections at 144 SW 153rd Street
in Burien for coffee, tea and conversation.
